- Work Close to Home - with some travel in NSW
- Manufacturing/Operations Focus
- Hands-on Training with scope to Grow your Career!
Real Pet Food (RPF) is excited to welcome a new Training Coordinator to join our hands-on People and Culture Team based at our Ingleburn Manufacturing site.
We're one of Australia's fastest-growing companies in the pet industry and we're looking for someone who's not afraid to dive into a role that is hands-on and on-site where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for planning, organising, administering, and overseeing training programs for employees in our operations teams to enhance their skills and knowledge.
This role ensures that all training initiatives align with the organization’s goals, meet compliance standards, and are delivered effectively.
Reporting to the Training Lead ANZ, this role will suit someone who has some experience creating and conducting training based on instructional design or a training needs analysis, but you won't be at Training Lead or Training Manager stage just yet. However, if your career goal is to develop your skills professionally and personally in this field, we are behind you 100%
Let's get into the details - here is some of what you will be expected to do:
- Create clear and concise training materials, work instructions, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) with the support of stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions with managers and supervisors to enable them to conduct technical training in their areas.
- Conduct new employee induction training in conjunction with other stakeholders.
- Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Conduct safety training sessions and ensure all employees understand and adhere to safety protocols.
- Work closely with HR, Operations, Quality and Safety departments to align training programs with organizational goals.
- Act as a liaison between management and employees to facilitate effective communication and feedback.
- Travel to one of our other NSW sites where required - This includes Ingleburn (where this role is based) and Somersby. We are a highly collaborative team and work in office 4 days a week with the option to WFH on Thursdays or Fridays.
Why we will want to meet you:
- You have a Cert IV in TAE or are willing to get (and we are happy to support!)
- You are a few years into your career as a Training Coordinator but want to develop your career in this field further. Ideally you will be coming from a Manufacturing, Operations or Blue Collar Background.
- You are able to give examples of your commitment to delivery, a problem-solving mindset, and strong organizational skills.
- You have strong verbal and written communication.
- You have the proven ability to work with various teams, including HR, operations, and safety, to identify and address training needs.
- You have the proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and handle competing priorities.
- You have solid experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training-related software, e.g., Articulate360.
- You are known for your awesome skills in influencing, managing, and challenging ideas and existing business processes.
Nice to Have (but not essential)
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in Australian manufacturing.
- Understanding of various manufacturing techniques, workflows, and operations.
- Familiarity with the machinery, tools, and technology used in the manufacturing industry.
