Are you currently an HR Business Partner with experience in FMCG or Manufacturing (or other awards/EBA based industry) looking for a change or thinking about taking the plunge into the corporate animal health & pet food world? We have the paw-some opportunity you've been looking for!
We are excited to be looking for the next Business Partner to join our People and Culture team as our People and Culture Business Partner for our Operations Teams. This is a crucial role to support our operations teams located in Ingleburn, Somersby, Dubbo and Crows Nest
Reporting to the Head of People Partnering, this is a fast-paced role with no two days the same. This is a team that is highly collaborative, and you will have to be able to switch seamlessly between being self-driven and autonomous with working together as a team. Please note, this is not a senior leadership role however as the Business Partner, you will provide leadership and support in the functional area of human resources for the operations functions of the business.
About your role - key responsibilities for this role include
- Employee Life Cycle Management and Workforce Planning- including interviewing, induction and onboarding, performance management and any adjustments required due to internal changes. Rosters and roster changes based on business needs also form a part of this role.
- Employee Relations - provide guidance, coaching and advice related to Award and EBA Interpretation, leading negotiations and liaising with unions, and collaborate with the HR team to identify opportunities for process improvement
- Talent Management and Performance - champion our Learning Management System and other L&D Initiatives including identification of Workforce Planning Needs
- Business Partnering - your key stakeholders will include Operations Leadership teams in our Ingleburn, Somersby, Crows Nest and Dubbo sites. This is an on-site opportunity so you will be based in Ingleburn predominantly with travel to other sites as required.

What will help you succeed
- Experience in a similar People & Culture role supporting operational functions. It is essential you have experience in workforce planning (rostering) and Award and Enterprise Agreement Interpretation
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion including when conducting investigations and PIP's
- Experience in an Industrial setting is preferred however if you have been in a fast-paced environment with multiple unions and awards this would be ideal
- Excellent stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), high-level interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
- A strong team player, ready to be part of our pack, working collaboratively and cross-functionally.
- Familiarity with HR Systems including HRM, ATS and LMS
- Proficient with Office365 Suite
- Bachelorâs degree or equivalent experience in the field of Human Relations, Industrial Relations or similar.
