The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Sales Merchandiser - based in Hamilton - to support our Field Sales team in a part-time role and provide excellent service to our customers.  We are a team who are passionate about Real partnerships, Real ambition, Real ethics and working really hard. 

The skills required to be successful in this role are:

• The ability to understand market data and identify potential areas for growth within your stores.

• Being able to execute sales strategies and plans with the support of the Area Sales Manager

• The ability to successfully negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes whilst maintaining good relationships with our customers.

• Space management experience – negotiating optimal space and position on shelf and being able to make the most of what is available.

• Maximise RPFC presence in assigned area within guidelines (ranging, positioning and space

• Ability to negotiate for mutually beneficial outcomes.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has their own reliable transport and a valid NZ driver licence.

• Is physically fit and can lift up to 20kgs.

• Takes pride in their work and ownership of the relationship they build with our customers.

• Has strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.

• Is a team player, willing to go above and beyond for their team

• Pervious Sales & Merchandising experience is required.

• Previous FMCG/Grocery experience is preferred, or the ability to demonstrate transferable skills.

• Existing Grocery relationships in Hamilton preferred but not essential.

We have employed Merchandisers in other areas that are loving the opportunity that this Sales Merchandiser role has given them to step up, develop, grow, and gain more confidence.
