This is where you come in…
The position of Senior Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring that the delivery of raw materials and packaging are ordered and delivered on time to enable our Ingleburn and Somersby sites to keep producing in line with company requirements and targets through centralised planning. You will also support and provide coverage for the site production schedulers.

You will be joining a team that is super passionate about what they do. Reporting to Damien our Ingleburn Site Manager and working closely with Oscar our Somersby Site Manager, you will be a key member of the team and trusted to do what you need to do and do it well!

Strong communication and influencing skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting deadlines will be critical to the success in this role, this role is integral to the efficient running of our production facilities in Ingleburn and Somersby.


Responsibilities include:

Inventory Coordination

• Maintain a close focus on inventory levels and flag any potential excess stock levels and aged inventories
• Monitor raw & packaging materials to ensure adequate materials are on hand and on order / blanket orders to meet production plans and forward forecasts
• Liaise with suppliers and freight to track stock delivery and resolve issues with supply.
• Work closely with the Inventory Controller to support and investigate any discrepancies
• All purchase orders raised within the required lead times, managed and receipted in ERP system (We use QAD)
• Manage NPD Transitions, run outs and liaise with NPD to ensure plates etc are created on time to enable film to be delivered

Purchasing Coordination

• Monitor raw & packaging materials to ensure adequate materials are on hand and on order / create blanket orders to meet production plans and forward forecasts.
• Forward order contract and blanket order materials.
• All purchase orders raised within the required lead times.
• Manage NPD Transitions, run outs and liaise with NPD to ensure plates etc are created on time to enable film to be delivered n time
• Close PO’s accurately & on time.
• Ensure all purchase orders are released at appropriate lead times. Receipts to purchase orders are timely and Open POs managed and maintained.

We would love to meet you if you have: 

• Proven experience in a similar role within an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment is essential.
• Sound knowledge of ERP systems, prior experience with QAD is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral), also high-level interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
• Excellent stakeholder management, ability to deal with multiple stakeholders and handle competing priorities.
• Basic understanding of the S&OP cycle, product lifecycle & ERP/MRP logic.
• Strong organisation and planning skills, with the ability to effectively adapt plans to changing circumstances.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Cert IV in logistics or Supply Chain desirable.

If you are successful for an interview you will be required to attend 2 in person interviews as well as submit 2 referees. This role is based on site in our Crows Nest Head Office 4 days a week with one day WFH.
