Your Opportunity
Our Planning Manager is heading of shortly on Maternity Leave and we are looking for someone amazing to fill her shoes until she’s ready to come back. The role is responsible for leading our end-to-end planning function encompassing chilled and frozen production manufactured here in NZ as well as imported ambient stock coming from our AU processing site.
No two days will ever be the same, you’ll have the chance to grow and develop not only yourself but the wider team around you. You will be a working with a hands-on team who are passionate about what we do, our finished products and service reflect that.
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for the planning and execution of the overall Supply Chain / Planning strategy, ensuring alignment with global direction
- Ensures the strategic plan is understood and followed by your team, giving them executable actions that deliver our strategy, and result in profitable & sustainable growth
- Oversea the development and execution of weekly production plans of fresh and frozen product, ensuring that everything runs smoothly
- Partners with our Production team to look for improvement opportunities in relation to production planning, highlighting potential risks in the Production plan and mitigation strategies to ensure we maintain DIFOT
- Provide hands on leadership, creating a thoughtful vision of what success looks like to engage the teams to deliver the right work that will strengthen supply chain performance
- Ensures appropriate stakeholder management approaches are taken to ensure highly effective cross-functional collaboration with global supporting functions
- Provides regular reporting updates on strategic initiative progress, to the Supply Chain team, Local Leadership team and Executive Management
To be successful in this role you will need:
- 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain
- A working knowledge of Master Data maintenance, system integrity and system housekeeping and inventory control
- Epic attention to detail
- A valid NZ driver license.
- To be legally able to work and live in New Zealand.
